Mrs. Tukuratiire is an advocate and member of distinguished professional bodies including the Advocate of Courts of Judicature of Uganda, the Uganda Law Society and the East African Law Society. She is 1981 graduate of Law from Makerere University.
She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Law Development Centre (LDC) and a Diploma in Modern Management and Administration from the Cambridge International College, UK. Before returning to private legal practice, Mrs. Tukuratiire had worked in various capacities including her meritorious service in the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs where she rose to the rank of Registrar General after 21 years of service.
