Mrs. Obore has worked with NIC since 1980 in various capacities and is presently Chief Technical Officer (CTO) in addition to being Director of NIC Life Assurance Company Limited. She holds a Bachelor of Arts, Social Work and Social Administration from Makerere University.
She has undergone a wealth of trainings both on management and insurance underwriting. She has extensive technical and managerial and cross skilling experience in both Life and Non-Life divisions of Insurance. Florence also has regional exposure, having worked as Coordinator and Consultant and member of the Technical Management Committee of the COMESA Insurance Schemes.
She has served in various committees of the Uganda Insurers Association and she is a member various bodies including the Insurance Institute of Uganda where she achieved position of the Deputy President of the Institute (2002-2003).
